I have a 1988 2.0 ranger 5 speed
Motor is carbureted. Finally got everything running halfway decent even the weird carb.
Only thing left it I have a problem with reverse sometimes. Seems like backin up will cause truck to shutter and either stall or act like no gas sometimes.
Sometimes it's fine and then sometimes it does this.
Last time it did this it wouldn't go into first right away either until unreleased and depressed clutch a couple times.
Anyone know if this is a Clutch going or is the tranny reverse no good?
Any help would be appreciated thank you in advance.
