Hello. I'm new to forums and was hoping to get some guidance on this problem I'm having. I previously reviewed the EEC Relay and amperage for my truck and plan on buying what I need to replace the relay and the connector. However, my concern is that the original relay in my truck that I'm going to replace is a 4 Terminal while the one recommended to buy is a 5 Terminal. The female connector for the relay is the original as well and only has 4 wires coming off of it while the one recommended to buy has 5 wires. Would I have to rewire the new connector somehow so that all 5 wires are connected or can I just remove the 5th wire from the new connector and just stick with the 4 wires that match the original connector already installed in my truck, because I'm not sure if it's a good idea to replace the 4 Terminal relay with a 5 Terminal relay? I hope this makes sense and apologize if it doesn't.
