1 theres a sensor in the rear end with a blue and green wire what does this sensor control?

2 theres a sensor on the transfer case this i believe controls the cruise control?
im trying to get the cruise control back up and running.

any help appreciated thanks steve

The sensor on the rear end is a wheel speed sensor... used for RABS. rear anti lock brakes.

How are you getting speedometer functionality?

It controls nothing. Control is output, sensors are input. Sensor's don't control things.

It's an 88. The speedometer is cable driven, he took his speedo cable and put it back in the transfer case, BAM, speedo works.

thanks guys so the sensor in the diferential is for abs,and the sensor on the speedometer is for cruise control
trying to reconnect the cruise control this thing is now ticket getter!
thanks again
