Wanted 1986 Ranger Tailgate Insert thing missing..???

I was opening my tailgate one day and it just fell off, then I noticed one of the inserts seem to be missing. I can't find one anywhere for my year. Basically, what I'm looking for is this, but for a ranger. I may not even be looking for the right thing, I'm just assuming its this.

Looks about the same as the Dorman part I got for my 93. Local parts store. Cheap. Give it a try. If it doesn’t work return it. Those have been roughly the same forever. Also same as the ones for full-size trucks, if I recall correctly. I’ve also successfully pulled those from the junk yard.

Alright, thanks. I'll order one for a f150 for 83-86. Ford changed the way that those things attach in 87 and up I'm pretty sure.

Lmc truck sells those specifically for rangers.I bought some just recently for my 87.If dorman route doesn't pan out
