right no whats happening is im getting no power to the glow plug bus rail, i get power when i turn switch on to 1 of the terminals on the glow plug relay 12v but when the relay is supposed too click to engage the other terminal it doesnt have any power sending to the glow plugs themselves i just replaced the glow plug relay and that did not fix the problem. the only way i could get the truck to start before it started doing this is i had to take a jumper from 1 terminal to the other on the glow plug relay in order to get the plugs warm then start. no blown fuses in the cab fuse box. before it went tottaly out on the old 1 it would work intermittedly thats why i replaced the relay but that didnt work. i took off all connections and grounds and cleaned them up with a dremel ad still no power on the quik start terminal. any suggestions. this things to purdy to be sittin

o and also i took off the wires on the terminal that arent getting power and i suspected that i have bad glow plugs resisting the power so i took off the wires and then checked the supposed to be outgoing terminal with key on and still nothing but the other terminal has 12v

well my experience is with mercedes diesel, but sounds like you may have a bad relay, if all the glow plugs check out resistance wise...

if the relay is putting out 12v when not hooked up to the glow plugs then the only thing i can think of is check all the glow plugs for resistance.

if you're adventurous you can bench test the glow plugs!

well im back on the road again replaced relay and all 4 glow plugs still no start, moved the ground to the key ignition fired right up, lol wtf. check your grounds
