All,
I am new to this forum and have not been very succesful finding information with the search function on my topic. I have a 1985 diesel Ranger with a 2.3 (4D55T) motor. The truck will not start, but will turn over. I am getting fuel to the injectors and the glow plug system is functioning properly. The truck ran for the previous owner, until he tried to investigate a small leak on the top of the injector pump. Where the throttle cable hooks up to the injector pump, he removed the lever to investigate the leak and could not figure out how to get it back together. It contains two springs that appear to fit into the one another and a metak clf shield that retains the springs. In his defence, it is harder to figure out the proper configuration than it should be. I am hoping someone out here can help with a discription or even better a picture of how it goes together. I am in desprite need of help.
