Willow Springs 1/24/20 setup:
Engine: 2.8 V6
#50 main jets(MotorCraft stock carb)
K and N Filter
Castrol 10w-40 GTX conventional
Lucas oil stabilizer about 1/2 quart
Ignition:
MSD 6AL with 5000RPM chip(being safe)
Accell TFI style coil
NGK plugwires
Autolite copper plugs
Exhuast:
Edlebrock headers
Mr. Gasket exhaust cutout (open on track)
(MagnaFlow cat/ Flowmaster Delta Flow 50 secondary after cutout for the neighbors)
Brakes:
Powerstop Z23 brake pads(best I could find, said "sport" on the box)
Motul 600 fluid
Rear 10" drum upgrade
Centric rotors
Drivetrain:
Stock clutch/flywheel
Mistubishi 5 spd with overdrive
8.8 LSD 3.55 from newer Ranger
Pinion shims
Suspension:
Front springs from 92 4.0 4x4 auto a/c extended cab .64" thick
Hellwig 1 1/4" front sway bar
DJM 3" drop beams front
KYB gas-a-just struts
Rear 3/4" swaybar from newer Ranger
Energy bushings all around
Belltech Leaf spring mount drop brackets (from stock -3")
1.5" heavy duty drop shackles (from stock -1")
Leaf springs from "Edge" ranger 1850lbs (from stock +1.5)
Drop from OEM front: -3" rear: -2.5"
Camber: 2 degree
Toe: 1/8" in
Wheels/tires:
Bassett 15 X 8 3.5" back spacing square setup
Front: Hankook Ventus R-S4 245/40/15 200 treadwear 25psi
Rear: Toyo Proxes R1-R 225/45/15 200 treadwear 23psi
Only issue is power steering DID NOT LIKE THE TRACK. Started leaking, wining more than usual, seemed to get some air in it. Solutions in the works.
Ran the Truck pretty stock this time. Spare tire and bottle jack still in the truck. I have a new engine on a stand, trans, clutch, ready to go. So, this one needs to blow up first.
