I had to look close, but I think that the white plastic window mounting piece is broken in his truck. See where I've marked his pic here:

I took a quick look at LMC, and it looks like they don't have that part. It would go where the red asterisk is, here in the diagram from their website:

edit / add: I just noticed that I grabbed the wrong door diagram; it's for the '93-up, but the diagram for the '83-'92 door parts also show that the bracket isn't offered. Unless you find that part by itself somewhere, his best bet is to look into buying the window from a junkyard, as usually the bracket goes with the glass, and it'd probably be an easier R&R on the repair.

I have a bracket from a 1986 from a parts truck that is sitting I'm taking everything apart from it and it'll be gone in a week. Hopefully I'll have the other truck up and running by then.

I'm not sure yet I'm missing some tools, I can get photos of it tomorrow when I have the correct tools. I do have the driver's window also. I'm in Montana, so whatever the price would be for shipping and 50$ for the bracket. As long as it's the correct one your looking for and I believe it's fully metal it does not have the side window vent on it.

I'm not sure yet I'm missing some tools, I can get photos of it tomorrow when I have the correct tools. I do have the driver's window also. I'm in Montana, so whatever the price would be for shipping and 50$ for the bracket. As long as it's the correct one your looking for and I believe it's fully metal it does not have the side window vent on it.

No vent here either, $50 good shipping pay ok also, just blessed good part

I think this bracket was updated after 84ish to a metal version. I don't know if the glass is the same or if you would have swap the whole deal over window and all.
