1354e question?

Can an electric 1354e be converted to a manual case? Or do I just need to look for a manual transfer case

No. But there is a gadget called "shiftster" available and other people like myself toy with the idea of doing something to rotate the shifter shaft without the electric motor and controls.

There are manual transfer cases all over the place, it's the shifters that are always missing, they say you can make the shifters if you have even a some fabrication skills it's pretty easy, but I have yet to find the actual drawing.

Sorry. I couldn't let that pass. The manual ones don't seem to be as common as the electric shift models. Is there something wrong with yours? Or do you just prefer the manual? As Denise said, you can buy a Shiftster to replace the electric shift motor.

I feel the same way. I just like the manual pull stick. No frills and gadgets or electronics to deal with. I swapped my manual 4406 in when I did the 5.0 swap and I love it.
