The EB coils aren't going to give him near the amount of lift he wants. It's his dd and we've read/heard that with that much lift it's gonna be horrible on the street without coilovers. Fact or Fiction???
I had a 5.5" and a 1" block stacked under my leafs for a couple years and it was horrible. When I took them out the ubolts were BENT BAD!!! That was with larger diameter ubolts - 9/16" I think.
I've got a 4Runner buddy who has TrailGear leaf springs on all 4 corners, the thing flexes like crazy and is a decent street ride for a solid axle.
Is there anyone using TrailGear leafs on their Ranger?! I want to know how much lift a 5.5" lift TrailGear leaf will lift a Ranger - front and rear?
I'm thinking it will be ALOT easier for us to build using leafs in the front, cheaper for him, and a bit more stable on the street compared to a 3' tall coil!
Input?
