So I just finished refurbishing my ranger's frame & changing out some suspension components. I have a question though.. What should I do about the gooey bed pads I removed? Are they replaceable? I can't find it on ford.parts and the only bed mounting pads available online are for 50s era trucks and look much thicker than the adhesive membrane I removed. I'm not sure what my best course of action is.

Let me know what you think I should do.
Below are some process pics of the work I did, enjoy!

original condition of the shackles and frame. Not great not terrible..

undercoating and rust stripped, mostly disassembled.
It's more work than it's worth to be honest 😅

re-installation/replacement of all most removed components!

I'd probably cut some pieces out of an old tire.

Edit: Which has now been added to the list of things I need to do... Especially since my bed shifts and squeaks when I flex things.

My first thought was pieces of inner tube. I didn’t bother with any pads under my custom bed. Just bolted bed to frame- steel to steel. But that may not be the best idea. Some slices of HDPE (high density polyethylene ) might be a good choice and hold up better than rubber.

I used a double lay of ice and water shield used for roofing, but inner tube rubber would be easier to come by.
