The elocker, which I have on my F150, is for straight line use only when needed and unlocks around 20 mph.
yeah, that is what they do oem. its pwm controlled and fully integrated.

as previously mentioned.

you can manually control it and the front hubs also so you can do 2wd low range donuts too if you want.

but you dont want to. fine.

Sounds childish and irresponsible and not good advice for using a new truck.

When you are sitting in the nursing home do you want to look back on your life and think to yourself "why didn't I ever do a cookie?"

The 2wd guy is just an idiot.....will wait to see what else Ford comes up with. My 2011 only has 64K on it.
Mine has about 55K on it. I split driving between it and my SUV. That and deployments help keep the mileage low.

Ford has been putting model names on windshields forever, dad's 2005 F-150 said "F-150" behind the mirror. My brother's '11 Mustang has the running horse emblem in the same spot.
My '18 F-150 has the FORD oval script behind the mirror. Seems kinda silly that they made it readable from the outside. You would have to be riding in the back seat of a school bus to see it.

There's aren't any. They quit making Lightnings and the Raptor is not a hot rod. Is it?
The list of trucks you can not get a rear locker on is pretty small.

A diff lock makes a truck a hotrod ? I think I might be dealing with a bunch of 20 year olds on this forum. Going back to the grownup forum now. Bye.

I think anything fun to drive, especially if you drive it fast can be considered a hot rod. I have used the term in reference to the 6.2L Raptors running around here. Guys drive them like hot rods. Loud and quick.

Even crazier is that they now come with a 450 horse 3.5L that makes more power than the 410 horse 6.2L.

The new Ranger has a 270 horsepower 4-cylinder that makes 63 more horsepower than the former 4.0L V6, but is only slightly larger. These engines have more power potential to be released.

I was recently in California to drive the new Ford Ranger. I was teamed up with an editor that normally reviews performance cars. He was having a blast driving it, and said he could see its potential to be a fun vehicle to drive on the street in a 2wd model. We even discussed the monster it could be if ford put a 3.5L in it. Make it a Ranger lightning since we already have a Raptor.

It's time to leave 2002, and see what's happening in 2019.

By the way, my 2016 Ford Expedition has a 365 horse 3.5L in it, and compared to any truck I've ever had, I think this is fun and quick vehicle to drive. Hell, it's currently my hot rod. ;)

I would call my current EcoBeast a HotRod also.
