77 F250 400.

Ordered a cap/rotor from crapazon and its the wrong one. The rotor is the newer style (87ish+), and wont work on the 77s Dizzy.

So im assuming the cap is also for a newer style. Question is, the cap clips on the same but is it the same, persay, as the older style cap?

That way i can buy just a rotor and not a rotor and cap. The only differenve i noticed where longer electrodes, but im not sure if the ones on the 77 were just burnt down that bad.

Pics?

My newer style 302 cap has a spacer thing that makes the whole works quite a bit larger. I think the intent was for the later hotter ignitions so it didn't arc around in the cap.

Unless your cap came with the spacer it wouldn't be a drop on swap though. And the plug wire ends would be different. (post vs the older socket style)
