Alright, so I’m trying to upgrade my HVAC bulbs to LEDs. The bulbs themselves are 161 bulbs. Superbrightleds.com said they were 194. No dice on fitment. 194 is too big, 74 are just a hair small on the base and I can’t find a 161 led bulb online.

I swore on my 2006 Ranger I used 74 or 194. Did the bulb size change after 2000? Or, does anybody know where to find a 161 LED bulb?

194, 161, and 168 are all the same bulb just different watts. You wont find a led bulb in 161 because it's pointless to make a separate 161 and 194 led bulb. If the 194 you bought was too big its because that brand simply wont work... Try the phillips bulbs, they are made to match factory incandescent bulb shapes.

Dirtman...I’m a goober. I didn’t get any sleep the night before and posted without doing any real research. Turns out they ARE 74 bulbs. Sorry bout that.
