This has been my project for years now. Started from basically stock and have been slowly building it up ever since. Here is my progress. The Solid Axle Swap starts on Page 9.

Heres how it sat when I bought it in September 2013
3" Body Lift and BF Goodrich 285/75/R16's

Then I did the leveling kit, exhaust, and some other things.

So after 139000kms I guess it's time for wheel bearings.
I jacked it up the other day and there's more play in the front than I'm comfortable with.

Time to order some Timkens!

Also my rear window or third brake light is leaking. or both
Gonna take them both out and re seal them with some butyl tape

Probably the 3rd brake light. Pretty common.

Ya so I've heard. I'll probably make a rubber gasket for the brake light first. Then move on to the window if necessary.

Sorry guys haven't been on here in a while. Thanks for the comments.

I don't think 285's would fit without the BL. If they did they would rub for sure. Mine even rub a bit if I turn the wheels all the way with the suspension compressed. 265's would probably be as far as I would go. That's the size I use for my winters. I was thinking about running the smaller tires all the time. I don't really like to cram in the biggest tires I can get. Give em some room to move around.

Did some wheelin today found a cool spot with a great view of the lake. Oh yeah and I got my expo roof rack on a couple weeks ago.

Got to flex the truck out as well. Not bad but it turns out my leaf springs hit my exhaust tips. You can kind of see it in the first picture. I think i'll re route them to come straight out the back under the bumper.

I love the Okanagan. How hot was it there? 33° just outside Vancouver today.

Nice truck BTW. I just bought my son a dark blue/grey 08.

We got to 31 degrees so a bit cooler than last week. We hit around 40 degrees not too long ago.

Thanks. Your son will love the truck. I know I do. Thats a cool colour combo too.

Got my side exit done today :icon_welder:

It's pretty loud in the cab, but I don't mind. I'm just glad I have a flowmaster 50 and not a 40...
