Nice find! However the graphics have already been made and are just waiting to be put on. The guy that did my paintjob screwed it up real bad and it needs to be redone so I have to wait to have them put on. Here is a photo of them. It does them no justice as the image is to big to upload here so I had to screenshot them

That's awesome. I know there are a few people on here that would want a set of those 91-92 stripes, Grunizzle being one of them.

Have him send me a personal message and I would be more than happy to email them a copy. Like I said they are much more detailed than the pic shows because the image is such low quality.

This is gonna be a great thread. I am looking to do the same thing to my '92 STX.

Thankfully I already have the 4.0 and 5-speed.

I would also like to find an XLT with power windows and locks with factory AC as a parts vehicle so I can add those options as well.

Thank you for sharing.

Glad you like it! I would really like to find some of these OEM sport buckets and power windows for mine also.

What is different about the "sport" buckets? Different fabric pattern?

Ironic that the pic on Armslist has a console missing the armrest... :icon_twisted:

You had 4 seating options to choose from depending on the trim level of the truck.

The trim levels for at least 1991 are
- S
- Sport
- XLT
- STX

The S level trim came with a solid bench seat, and the Sport level trim came with a standard solid bench but was most of the time optioned with the 60/40 split seat.

XLT & STX trucks came standard with 60/40 split bench seats. Captains chairs w/center console, and sport bucket seats w/ center console were optional.

The captains chairs consisted of the standard seat that came with the 60/40 bench seat, but the 60 (drivers side) portion of the seat were replaced with an identical seat as the passenger and a center console was added to bridge the gap between the two.

The sport bucket seats had additional side bolstering, adjustable thigh support, power lumbar and power adjust seat bottom bolstering.

Correct.

I was talking about the 1991 year model.
There are several small differences between 1991 and 1992 Ranger Trucks.

1992 XLT & STX trucks came standard
with captains chairs. 1991 came standard with 60/40 split bench seats. There are also differences in the graphics packages for 1991 and 1992 Sport & STX trim levels.

The "STX" letters in 1991 graphics are matched with the color of the graphics.
The letters in the 1992 graphics are matched to the color of the paint.

Sport decals from 1991 to 1992 are also completely different.

Weird.

I guess I never paid that much attention, my parents '94 Explorer and and whatever Explorer I pulled buckets out of must have had the Sport Buckets, both looked like your pic with power lumbar.

Most Rangers I see in JY's have 60/40's, buckets are pretty sparce until later on.

I ditched mine and put the bench back in, they were claustrophobic in a standard cab truck.

Yes Eddie Bauer and Limited explorers had the same seat layout as the sport buckets.

My parents was an XLT with blue interior.

I remember it had the separate pieces, dad had the outside one on the drivers seat reupholstered.

I've also seen a difference between 1st gen solid bench seats in 2wd vs 4wd trucks. Some 4x4 models have a much more "puffy" bench seat in the center section and on both sides. To hold you in the saddle better I guess.

Giddyup.

My credo
Everything looks better lower
Ran into mine by complete accident. Purchased the front and rear. $75 for the set.

You can hate me now, it's ok.

I got mine on a Ranger I found for free on Offerup and it also came with a 3 inch body lift. Believe it or not I got the truck running yesterday. Still debating if I will use them though.

P.S. Nice looking STX
