Thanks 85.

Bedsides were more difficult to cut.
Turned out okay.
And i was able to cut out most the rust in the front and back.

Wishing I would have gone with 33”s...

Now I just need to decide what to do with the front suspension.

With the rear GM 64” leafs and flipped long shackle, there’s not much lift at all, right?

My credo
it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
the frame is like a slinky so stock rear articulation on an extended cab has never been an issue for me untill the chassis is tied up with a cage or something......even then its pretty good.

but for max traction and ability...the chevy 63 swap has merit for sure.

the key to the front is

tooooooo soft to safely drive on the road coils, tamed to road-ability with airbags. very cheap path for optimum tun-ability

long arms

super duty aftermarket detachable sway bars

"k link" style steering setup.

unless you can afford coilovers.. even then you get max slow speed travel out of soft coils.

Painted the hood and roof black.

No more rust! I don’t think it looks too bad.
Lighting makes it look uneven.

Love the build man , everything looks very well done. I plan to do my spare the same way, just offset to the passenger side, do you have any advice?
