New, got a few posts in the computer forum already.
Bought an 01 Ranger 4.0 V6 Auto 2WD that was one of my dad's fleet trucks. Just rolled over 101k bought for $1100 about 3 months ago. I'm driving it as a winter vehicle to replace my 02 Lincoln LS.
I make my own cone intakes, so that will be going in, but what are the options as far as Tunes etc? The shifting in it is kinda rough, but all the rangers I've been in have been like that.
This will also be used for pulling our boat in the summer so I need a class 3 receiver for it too. Probably a Curt system I can get from work for about $150.
Any recommendations as far as winter preps go? I'd like to maybe get a limited slip for it too, this thing spins tires faster than my LS V8 and its barely raining outside
I'm also down for any meets if anyone around the area is interested.
