Anyone with a 4'' rough country or tuff country lift out therE?

Hey just curious if any one with the rough country or even tuff country 4'' lift are running 2'' spacers on the springs for 6'' lift, i know i may not get 6'' in total. but i will gain over just the springs alone. i plan to do this, but i just wanna make sure i wont run into alignment issues, thats my main concern!

Also gonna be doing brakes and hangers when i do the install, gonna be quite the job i have coming up,

So does anyone think ill have alignment issues with 2'' spacer on a rouch country 4'' lift?

Super cab 4.0L or reg cab?

I did the 4" RC on 2wd with 2" spacer... You should normally be able to get it aligned with no more then 2" of added lift. Going to be close to 3 degrees or so off.

You should be alright with the adjustable bushings.

perfect sounds good... i think i got this project all sorted out

4'' RC Lift 2'' Spacers, Ebay only has the nylon ones, i was told steel is prefferable, ill keep looking tho.

Gonna do Explorer Leafs out back with the ranger leafs for add a leafs, possible bell techs for added lift and stock block only,

Also need to replace all the leaf hangers and do a full brake job, then alignment, luckily im allowed to use the alignment rack at work

i did the same thing but i bought a pair of the skyjacker 6" lift springs much better way to go

Make sure you have or get the drop pitman arm with the rough country lift which is considered a separate part from the kit... Then it should be good to go with no problems!

I have a tuff country 4" lift and while i dont have a 2" spacer up front, it could REALLY use it. I would say wait a long while for those coils to settle in, mine are still settleing after 8 months. I do have extra weight on the front tho from my winch and bumper, but i could have used some spacers before those even.

sorry to dig up an old one but this is exactly my problem. when i first got my truck it was stock, I put a 2" spacer kit on it my tires went from | | to \ / and I did not get it aligned because I was already planning a 4" rc kit and new tires well I got all that installed and threw away the spacer kit now the tires sit like this/ \. I bought the adjustable bushings and I could not find a shop that had a clue how to use them. They adjusted the toe and charged me $65 and sent me on my way. I have put up with it for almost a year and now that my mickey t's are cupping horribly it's time to get something done. So my question is will installing the spacer at least make my tires sit strait? Think of it like \ / + / \=| | :dunno:

or could anyone suggest to me what to do? I don't want to continue trashing my tires I'm at the point I'll pay just about what it takes whatever it takes to get it aligned! :pissedoff:

do you have a true 4in drop pitman arm?

steering can do cause similar issues to trucks. talk to 4x4 junkie and ThatGuy. they are pro's about it!

do a search for the stonecrusher steering system. and see if that seems to be an issue
