Yes it was a great race! It's always great when someone else besides Jeff Gordon wins!

and your link does not work.

I thought the race was great! I was suprised at how well the new cars are holding onto the track, especially on super close draft the just seem to get a little squirlly. Glad to see Gordon go to the garage early, I would have like to see Jr. and Stewart do better.
I also wish that the drivers didn't have any caution laps for the last ten to fifteen laps, It really seems to put a hitch in things when there is a caution on lap 6!

Glad to see Newman win. He definately derserved it.

Im a fan of Hendrick Motorsports.

Gordon I guess you could say is my primary driver but I pull for the whole team.

Glad to see jr come over to a real team and quit wasting talent at TEI (teresa earnhardt inc)

I think its funny that all the Gordon haters thought once he retires life will be good.....then came Jimmie Johnson...

Jimmie is so much like Gordon its scary.. even more so if you look at his stats...

oh for crying out loud SOMEBODY PASS SOMEBODY!!!:thefinger:
Look, we all know that you don't watch NASCAR to see who passes who. I don't think anyone could keep up during a long race like in Daytona. But people do watch it to see who wins and those spectacular crashes. So lets go away from the whole passing thing.

Now NASCAR does have 2 (I believe) road courses they race on. So they do turn right at some time in the year. So we can basically toss this out too.

My only point was that it takes a better driver to run a road course effectively than an oval or whatever they call that dizzying beast in Daytona. F1 never drives on an oval. That almost changed with Indy a couple of years ago, but that didn't go well.

And maybe someone here knows... didn't Jeff Gordon do well when he raced in an F1 car a couple of years ago? It was a promotional thing, but more of that mixing of drivers really kind of intrigues me.

But my original post wasn't supposed to upset anyone, just be funny.
