20k miles since it had a 140mph Ford Motorsport speedometer installed (which is hard to find)

Other than being clobbered by JC Whittney it is a clean truck.

It probably is low miles, nowhere near worth $25k though.

I'd pay him 1/10th that if he had paperwork verifying the mileage....

Impossible. It has an aftermarket speedometer.

I gave 3k for a truck in lesser condition than that, so 1/10th isn't far off. lol

That Ford Motorsports speedo is indeed a rare bird in the wild these days. I was lucky to find one after a short search, and no, they're not automatically worth $300+

The 2.9 KILLS it for me though. Worse engines than the 4.0 SOHC.. I NEVER found a block or heads that wouldn't crack on me, and believe me, I tried several. I probably invested over 10k in my old 89 just in rebuilt engines and replacement heads, and they still always cracked the heads on me. Had a 4.0 radiator in it too.

All that said, I'm still gonna watch it on Ebay to see how long it takes him to realize he needs to drastically drop his price.

Cool truck, way over priced. Where does one find that 140 speedo?

Wherever you find old out of production parts. Ford Performance/Racing used to be called Ford Motorsports, at one time you could get it from dealers.

Long out of production so you find them more or less with dumb luck now.

Or a daily search that lasts for hours on end, every.. single.. day.. Only to be severely disappointed by the seller packaging it like a 2 year old would, and it arriving scratched up..

I'd expect to pay at least $150 these days at a minimum.
