So it's ok to get out and lock in manual HUBS before you hit a mudhole, but you wait until you're ALREADY stuck in the mud to shift into 4WD and complain about crawling under? IT'S ON THE WAY TO THE FRONT OF THE TRUCK!!!!!!!
Just lock everything in BEFORE you hit the rough spots, or, as the forum discussing it says, carry it as a "just in case" for if your motor fails on the trail. It doesn't seem to be intended for a fulltime permanent solution.Just get another junkyard motor. The tech library shows how to take one apart and clean it good as new....
Walking thru mud isn't the same as crawling thru it.
