Mono sucks!

This is the worst sick I think Ive ever been, The past week Ive had a fever, Cold symptoms, Bad sore throat and just been really tired. The worst part is the Doctor said It might take a few weeks to go away. I think I learned my lesson about sharing food, drinks, Getting drunk and kissing and carrying on with slutty girls. Anyone else ever catch it and wanna share how bad there symptoms where and how long it took them to get over it?

Oh and on top of it I might have pink eye, Lucky me!

I had a friend who had it last year, his breath was so rank it was hard to be within 10ft of him.

lol maybe this thread should be moved to the garage if we are going to start talking about STD's seriously thought that sucks. I have never had it or any stds, but I was lucky enough to have a kidney stone. Ill be honest with you. That is something you DO NOT want!

OH man i feel your pain, sat on the damn couch for a full week before i had the energy to move around again...and my throat was so swollen i couldnt talk for at least 3 days....not fun man good luck...Drink lots of WATER!! it does help. :icon_thumby:

i was in college when i got mono and i had riden my bicycle to the compus health center to find out why my throat was had a passage the size of a straw. the doc couldnt believe i had energy to ride a bike. one of my blood counts that is supposed to be around 80 was at 5!!!!!

Well, that truely sucks. All I can say is get well soon and eat lots of soups.

For me, graduating from high school was my best cure. Now I only get sick maybe once a year for two days instead of 3-4 times for a week or more.

Ya mono sucks... I've never had it before but my brother did. Just to tell you, you catch it by an exchange of fluids. You will not catch it by drinking out of someones beer, the alcohol will kill the germs. You just make sure you don't double dip anything because you are highly contageous...

i had mono, but for some reason it hit me real mild, and that was a few years ago. I drank lots of fluid, and tried to keep active.

ps was she good looking? She better have been cause she gave you mono and thats a pretty rough trade off...
