Got the exhaust done on my truck recently, figured I'd post a couple clips here.

Setup is 2.25" piping from manifold to muffler, no cat (previous owner removed it, I haven't bought a new one yet). Muffler exits before right rear wheel.

First, the crap that was removed. clamped on piping and a Harley muffler

In progress

Done. I wanted it to be tucked into the fender, but we ran into clearance issues, so this will suffice.

First fire up, ignore me and my buddy's jabbering lol. By the way, yes, my tires look small in the wheel wells, believe it or not they're actually taller than the stock 14 inchers <click to watch>

Some parking lot action, I realized after recording that while I could hear it in person, the camera couldn't <click to watch>

Same parking lot action, inside cab <click to watch>

On the highway, taken from my buddy's Saab <click to watch>

In all of the clips you'll hear rattling and noise from up front, most of that is my rusted off egr pipe, new one is here and I'm getting that swapped over sometime this week.

And for reference, this is what that craptastic Harley muffler sounded like while it was restricting the hell out of the exhaust <click to watch>

I like the sound of the Magnaflow Magnapack a lot. Once I get a highflow cat to stick under the truck, and possibly a resonator, it'll be toned down some. Right now I have a lot of drone in the cab from a combination of the exhaust note and the hard hanger used to bolt the muffler to the frame. Later on, when the truck is lowered and I fab up a new bumper/rollpan, I'm going to redo the exhaust out the back.

For anyone with a 2.3 wanting to use this muffler, here's a Youtube clip of a 2.3 with a Magnapack (skip partway in, he demo's his old Flowmaster first)

Yeah I realized that my username on Photobucket doesn't clash with the filters on TRS. I'm uploading everything to my alternate account right now to change the links
