I found this on Craigslist last week, so I called the guy up and we negotiated a deal. It has 63,000 carfax certified miles on it. This thing is CLEAN considering the age. It's the XLT so it has power windows, locks, tilt wheel, ABS, limited slip 3.27 gears. The interior is also very clean as well (as it should with that low of mileage). Overall, I am very pleased with the Explorer. Plans for now are to just drive it the way it is. In a couple years I'll buy another newer SUV then I will mod this one, but until then I will just enjoy it the way that it is. My only complaint about it is that the 4.0 doesn't seem to have much power compared to my 94 Ford Ranger 4.0. It seems pretty sluggish to me unless you put it to the floor.

Thanks, the best part about this one is it was garaged it's whole life and is virtually rust free. Not even the rockers have any rust in them

Probably slower cause the explorer weight more than Rangers.

It feels sluggish because it has 3.27 gears. It should feel 100x better with some 4.10s.
