Flexing on a rock bouncer

New rock lights, hard to tell in the pics, but they do light up the ground very well. I was curious being blue how well it would light up the ground. I was impressed and happy with what they did. They were covered in mud at the time of pic as well. Clean they should work even better.

oops

Was happy with the new 42s and kmc's. Got a few scratches in the new rims lol.

"mullet Run" comp this weekend among friends, had to have a mullet (real or wig) and had to have roller tires with 1/4 tread or less and no bigger then 31's.
First place run on this course, 2wd only and you can't see but it was very muddy and slick..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZs25-8fLEU

1st course run, 2 laps around the field. I started in 2wd then stopped after the first lap to put it in 4wd which killed my timing.

Third course (and final course)I bombed. I was for 2nd going into the course. Fell into a hole and leaned hard to the passenger which emptied my fuel pump and I stalled and couldn't get it refired :(.

Attended a Rocksolid Performance, Crawl Magazine, and Rocks and Valleys event this weekend. Bump and hustle race and a bounty Hill.

Fun weekend, but wasn't without carnage.

Went out Friday night friday night. Was running big ugly backwards when I rolled the buggy going down hill. No carnage.

Next day, hoped in on my way to the bump and hustle when my belt tensioner bolt broke off in the bracket. 2.5 hrs later and new tensioner and bolt and a trip down the road to a guys shop to get the broken bolt out I had it fixed. Just in time for the bump and hustle to be done with. Really bummed I missed it . Didn't even get to watch.

But got it fixed and made an attempt at Bounty hill. AFter getting hung up on a tire at the entrance and then rolling before even getting to the hill, i made my attempt. Where it was obvious I didn't have a chance. But still tried to put on a show for the spectators. Even that was cut short. My throttle cable came off my gas pedal.

AFter it was all said and done, went back out and played on winch hill where I stuffed the front end into a rock (maybe a few times ), which led to a bent tie rod bar and broke the end off my ram leaving me with no steering.

After getting it loaded, it was noticed my carrier bearing on the front driveshaft is also shot to hell.

Atleast I now have a few things to do before the club comp.

Finally getting a feel for the struts and the new suspension. Feeling more confident with it on obstacles.

Grizzly locker worked well to.

Really starting to like the MTR's as well. We ran the hump trail yesterday, and while it was a lot wetter then usual, they really seemed to grab the rocks and logs better then my ltbs did. This was the first real comparison I have had between the two where I have used them both in the same place.

my buddy trying the washout before me, hes on 43" sx's

Fresh from the Loonie Run at MorningWood Offroad Park.

Loaded up and getting ready..

And how it looked when I got home...

Spent Thursday-Sunday at the park. What an Awesome Time. Did a bunch of day and night wheeling. Spent many many hours driving around. Cant even begin to describe how happy I was with the buggy. By far the most abuse it has seen to date. And I cannot believe how well the MTRK's worked. I had AWESOME traction all weekend. Buggy held up very well, aside from my ORI's. They didn't fair to well. Pretty sure 3/4 have bad seals. And one is completely locked up about 4"s below ride height. That really sucked on the last day, made the buggy very unstable and lifted the LF and RR corners over every obstacle.

Only took me about 30 minutes to roll lol.
