Anyone ever notice when your watching a movie/show that was filmed recently, but takes place in the past when they show vehicles that wouldnt of existed yet?

I know that most people cant tell the difference...but damn.

Like i was watching a show the other day where a guy was having a flashback to like, 1976, hes on a sidewalk and in the background a freakin 87-91 F series comes motoring by...

Am i the only one bothered by this? To observant for my own good? Or are others annoyed as well?

I was watching an episode of Royal Pains not long ago where Divya drives by at one angle, then it cuts to her pulling into a parking space. In the first spot she's in Jeep Commander, the second one is a Mercedes G-wagon. Same color and similar bodywork, but definitely different vehicles if you look close. Things like that make me wonder what happened when they were filming to force it. Did the Mercedes break down? That was her normal car at the time.

I don't get annoyed by it but do notice things like that, if I am familiar with the incorrect detail.
I am sure there are many incorrect details I don't notice, simply because I am ignorant of that information

If it was a documentary then I can see it being an issue, but if they are just "telling a story" then a pickup truck is a pickup truck, :)
