Title my 1988 ranger looking good
Engine 2.9L
Transmission Manual
2WD or 4WD 4WD
Tires & Wheels Dunlop Discoverer A/T. Soon to come 33x10.5x15 BF Goodrich Mud-Terrains.
Suspension Stock axles with Trail Master 4" lift. sway bar removed and heavy duty shocks. soon long link radius arms will be added.
Axles, Gears, Lockers Stock axles and open diffs. not sure if axle ratio has been changed in the back at some point. I want to add auto lockers all around and upgrade the axles to 8.8 off a new ranger and Dana 35. maybe ox lockers but we will see.
Description This truck has to do it all for me. I need it to get to work and for fun, so far it has done both perfectly. I have wanted a ranger for years but as i was still in school could never afford one. i purchased this one lifted already but nothing else done to it. maybe a gear change in the back. it had a leaky gas tank, oil leak from the intake manifold and I blew a brake line on the way home which ended up in me replacing the whole brake line from the master cylinder to the rear wheels. now that I have fixed all those problems she is running like a dream. only small improvements have been made so far. I have taken out the carpet and washed it, replaced spark plugs, put new oil in the front axle, I am trying to beat a window seal leak and eventually I want to repair the rust on the diver rear fenders. my next improvement will be a winch.
