My dd is a '95 psd with a zf and while the pedal feels perfect and everything works perfectly, the brake fluid in my clutch is nasty. I have the non-bleed slave (which is the proper slave) and was wondering what the flush procedure is for this thing. I can't find anything in any of the manuals i have and it seems most people just deal with the nasty fluid till the slave fails and then replace it. There has to be a better option than that.

Thanks guys!

How do you mean non bleed slave? There has to be a bleed somewhere so you can get the air out of the system. The slave in my ZF has a bleed and I know it's the correct one as well. If there is no bleed anywhere then I would let all alone as you mentioned and take care of changing the fluids when you need a new clutch or slave.

The proper slave for use with a zf has no bleeder. The bleed proceedure is to agressively pump the clutch until it is stiff, refilling the res as necessary.

The slaves that have the bleeders are not factory and are not matched to the master, this causes them to over-extend and tear seals.

The only way to do it is to pop the line and let it all out.

I hate non-bleeder slaves. The Mustangs have been using them for a few years now and these stupid things are a pain to bleed.
