Ford has had it's up and downs.....a ton of recalls still going on today and going way back like a bunch of other vehicals. I don't have have a single buddy who will buy any of the newer Fords anymore. I won't buy another Ford ...new that is...I only really like the early Broncos since I owned 3 of them..2 at one time and the early 'Stangs....when cars were real cars and trucks were real trucks.

Only new vehicle out there I would buy new is a Mustang GT. :icon_thumby:

Completely unpractical for the money though... so I won't. :bawling:

Trucks, for what I do none will do what I do better enough to justify buying vs what I already have. My main truck is a '02 F-150 that gets a shy 20mpg, tows what I need to tow, and has asked very little for repairs in the 6 years I have owned it and those were due to my own stupidity. And the biggie is that it is paid for. :icon_thumby:

absolutely. i can understand someone who doesnt like the way today's cars have gone in general, but if they seriously think specifically today's fords are inferior, they are an imbecile.

Agreed, if I know anybody looking for a new car I push them towards a Ford.

When my moms friend was looking for a new car (well looking to trade in), i pushed to buy a Ford. He bought a 2008 Escape, he said it is one of the most reliable cars he has owned, and he is terrible with cars.

Yeah Ford has really stepped it up lately! I would buy any one of their new vehicles, well fewer bells and whistles but still. They have amazingly nice interiors with great material and fit n finish, not sure about the new motors as they are new but they get amazing mileage and have great power. Driven a few around and just love em.

I like Chevy's interiors, they seem pretty nice but some of the plastic sucks and some panels don't quite match not to mention the e pedals and the way the engines are makes me thing they are just gonna break.

And Dodge/Chrysler just sucks period. Horrible interiors, horrid fuel mileage, the motors don't feel right.

I would buy the fusion just do the fact that it is a 2.5, you can get it in five speed, and it looks good to boot. I still rather have my Explorer though.
