here's my setup, Tepui rooftop tent with a custom rack.

I like it. I think that's the first I've heard of them. Which one of their tents is that one?

I really like that. Nice looking truck.

I know you have to enter the bed and climb up in to the tent. Do you have the bed itself setup in any particular way to camp? Looks like you have a stove sitting on the tailgate. Do you use the tailgate for your camp kitchen?

Thanks! This shell/tent system has the mattress built-in into the top shell. As it is on hinges clam-shell type, once one opens it up and lays over, sleeping is on the other side of tent. Tons of room inside, I have accessories/ that clip to hold camping essentials etc.. I used to have carpeted bench inserts that were great for making it more comfortable, PIA though to store in garage off season - so I gave those away.

Tailgate is used for a table top, do have folding table and other typical backpack/camping stuff. Half the reason I still own the truck - is this setup ;)

Here is a dated link on one for sale with better pics http://ten4design.tripod.com/camper/wildernest_camper.html

Camping trip I went on last year, was about an hour of trail to get to the lake, and a 15 min canoe ride to the island we camped on.
Man my truck looked so different back then

Tent I purchased in 2008 for my tow rig. Love this tent. I dont use it much anymore due to life, but its still in great shape.

Its great for open ATV trips. I don't have to worry about getting run over my a drunk on a dirt bike at 2am.

People love tear drop campers. I got stopped five times on my last trip by people wanting to see it up close.

Recent camping trip I went on with some friends, 2 hours of trail to the lake.
The trail was very tight, im sure glad I built custom bumpers otherwise I would have done some major damage to the truck. Skid plates were also used frequently too lol. Also had to use he winch a couple times to move fallen trees off the trail
