Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
On netflix/hulu/whatever.

Ive been binge watching car stuff the last couple weekends. Been through Netflix's "Fastest car", "Rust Brothers", and almost done "Deathwish" (adopted youtube series) on Amazon.

Wondering what else is out there?

I recenlty started getting into the street racing shows. The build shows like texas metal, iron resurrection, bitchin ride etc... are good. The fully custom garage guy Ian is about 3 miles up the road from me. My fabricator buddies probably know him. The junkyard empire show is funny, definitely the most colorful cast of characters. on a side note I also binge watched forged in fire.

I forgot to add for me this on regular cable tv, so I get to see all the cool dodge commercials, and lame subaru ones too. A good share of insurance ads too, most of which are actually funny.

Recently got rid of cable and lost the ability to watch a lot of those shows. The only one I pay for is Sling cause it's cheap. I enjoy the build shows that are on the Discovery channels. Sadly, it seems they are turning into reality shows that are full of drama. Just build the damn vehicle and leave the other crap out of the show.

When you buy a Samsung tv it comes with its own little free streaming service which for the most part is just awful but there's a channel "power nation" I think it's called that has nothing but car/truck building shows on it. I watch that from time to time when I'm too lazy to find the remote and change the channel.

I don't really "stream" car shows from like netflix or whatever.

I do from youtube though.

My main ones are:

4xoverland
Ronny Dahl
Trail Recon
Dirt Lifestyle
Vice Grip Garage
Junkyard Digs

They generally have a lot less drama than typical "car shows" and are more relatable.

Yep, I have several of the free apps like Pluto TV and IMDB TV, lots of old shows to go through as well as live channels. I saved 120 bucks a month making the switch from cable. NO REGERTS, not even a single letter. :D

Cable is stupid! I pay for Prime video, Hulu, Netflix, HBO max, Disney, Paramount plus, Apple TV, and Peacock plus and it's still about half of what cable use to cost...

I get ESPN all access, Samsung TV, and a few other things for free. There is no logical use for cable anymore.

$120 a month for TV is absurd. For a whole year TV I could make almost two mortgage payments. Internet isn't cheap either, but the wife pays for that.

Most the shows on the MotorTrend app are worth watching. I just do a free trial once a year and catch up.

A21Bravo on YT is not well known. He does LS swap and builds most his own parts. He has a twin turbo awd 6.0 LS Ranger

I dvr mototrend tv alot, the “roadkill” series mostly. Back in the day I liked 2guys garage, back when Dave & Sam hosted it out of one of their own personal garages. xtreme 4x4 is cool, Ian is a hoot, not sure if its just him or its a canadian thing, He does a lot of cool projects.
Its funny sometimes to notice how they film out of sequence at times, once on one show they were doing brakes on a 3/4 ton, they were working on the fronts and said “after the break (commercial) we will do the rear brakes”. In that very camera shot you could see the shiny new rotor & caliper on the left rear. After the commercial the left rear was the old original brake assy.

YouTube for me.

Junkyard Digs
Vicegrio Garage
Dylan McCool
Sam Crac

All of these are "revival" channels, with Dylan McCool being more old Mopar and JYD being more Ford oriented. Sam Cracs revivals are kind of neat because he likes the exotics and will get a totalled Lambo/ Ferrari/ Porsche or other type superclass and fix them up. He also has done a few normal ones and has good tips on getting deals at the salvage auction. Check out his Domino's Pizza car rebuild
