Meh. Thankfully, the spare was the same tire. So I just ordered a used rim to replace the steel spare and four steel rims to match the old steel spare. So, the aluminum rims have the Hankooks and the steelies have the winter tires. When the Hankooks are worn out, I'll be getting something like Jim got for the Loan Ranger. The Hankooks aren't horrible but I want/need a more aggressive mud terrain. Not so badly as to replace them now but when it's time, they're gone.

I'm a big believer in 5 tire rotations. So if a Hankook takes a hit and needs to be replaced, I'll just replace them all. I won't like an early, unplanned big tire purchase but it will be what it will be.

I’m annoyed that it seems to be harder and harder to get a RWL tire without paying for a lettering kit

So a crappy tire company stops making a crappy tire. Doesn't happen often enough.

I've yet to see a set of OEM tires to not be crappy on any vehicle I've bought. The ones on my first CR-V, the 2011, and the GF's clown car all had marginal at best OEM tires.

Raptors come with BFG All Terrains.

Rubicon used to have MTR's and BFG MT's. Now it has BFG AT's.

Even Jeep had their own specific Jeep only BFG MTs... they were like 255/75/17's or some odd size like that, came on JK Wranglers for a few years. Similar to normal BFG MTs but had a different tread pattern.

The old MTRs were popular for a while because they came with new Jeeps until everyone figured out that they sucked ass. Paper thin sidewalls.

Car companies put the cheapest tires they can on new vehicles unless it's a specialty thing, like the Raptor.

Up until I got my Wildpeaks the BFG Rubicon KM1.5? from the Rubi was my favorite tire.

It looks like Treadwright got the molds, their MT has the same tread as the Rubicon KM.

Thank God. Maybe Ford will start using a better all-terrain. They should take some cues from Jeep and offer a mud terrain as an option.

But, but soccer moms and urban cowboys don't like the road noise that come with them! I predict the best we'll see is a more aggressive All-Terrain like BFGs or Grabbers.

After doing a side by side comparison with my pretty decent tread Firestone MT's and Falken Wildpeak AT's in snow... I am pretty good with that.

I drive in snow enough I think I am done with MT's.
