There are no "Cash for Clunkers Vehicles" left in your area ?
I can still locate a JY or two with a few laying around.
The last yard I found in NH was loaded with "Cash for Clunker Vehicles", almost everything you would want and all with relatively low milage but most of them are either gone now or picked clean.
I am waiting for the next load.

There are two snapped on covers on the outside near the pivot for the armrest.
1. Pop those out and remove the two screws on each side.
2. Lift the armrest off.
3. Remove the four screws that secure the cupholder part to the armrest and remove the cupholder.
4. Remove the two screws that hold the concole shell to the front mount.
5. Lift console shell up.
6. Remove the 4 nuts that hold the rear aluminum mount and the two nuts that hold the front plastic mount. Watch for the thick shim/washer under the front mount.
sweet, thanks man!

I haven't seen any marked as C4C. Lots of Explorers up to '01 but Rangers only go up to 2nd generation.

Between the two yards I went to, I got the only set of brackets out of any Ranger with either buckets or 60/40's. They were 60/40's, blue, and were NASTY.

Not to unhappy with the seats in my 97 extended cab, But I would like to raise them an inch or so. Is there anybody making seat risers that bolt to the existing mounts and holes?

That would be difficult since the seats bolt to a slanted surface in front. Explorer seats are taller, at least the power ones are. You might try getting brackets off a set of manual seats.
