Yep. I bought one before for my old ranger, but wasn't ready to tackle that big of a project yet. I am ready this year though!!

So what kind of arms setup do you plan on running with it?

I saw someone else on here had a long arm setup that was pre-made. I am going to look into those, or maybe make my own....

We both got ours from here. Pricces have gone up a bit but so have a few things on them too. Worth every penny in my eyes and have a huge range of adjustments.

From what the guy knew (called the owner of the company) escourt_gts was the first to use these on a ranger SAS and I was the second person.

Yes there are other brands out there of long arms like from rusty's offraod and whatnot and are cheaper and strong too.

Shop around and go from there.

I use long arm teraflex lowers that have had the ends cut off and "superflex" joints welded on. They aren't to bad. Had a low pinion TJ axle in mine before the D60 look foreward to seeing this one done up as well.

rusty's offers arms to... little cheaper than ironmade. the rusty's are like $550 for the set.
also i think you can get Rough Country XJ arms and get just the arms only. RC should be cheaper, for the money RC stuff is good. I wouldn't be scared of them.

The joints on the rough country shit suck. However they are replaceable with non-RC parts so it isn't that bad.

yeah... when the wear out...buy currie johnny joints and be done. period.

however, i've seen guys run the RC joints w/ no issues. got a buddy w/ them on his front arms and got currie johnny joints on the rear 4 link arms; neither has been touched other than checking the torque specs in a year and a half.. its not a DD, its a trail rig.. but he's beat on it bad and they ain't failed yet.

They don't normally fail the joint jst gets sloppy which is pretty easy to ignore on a trail only rig.

rebuild kits are cheap...but rebuilding often is annoying, i know.
just replace the joints later if nothing else.

All you have to do is call they have a lifetime warranty on them. Guy I wheel with has gone through about a dozen.
