Y-Pipe Flange Rubbing Radius Arm End

I've recently become aware of this problem...

My question is what should I look at for the cause?
Only thing I can think of is the fact that my driver's side engine mount plate came from the 2.9, but it seems to be level. Could both mounts (the rubber part) be bad causing it?

For anyone wondering, the 2.9 mount was used because the idiots at the salvage yard didn't know that one motor mount was still bolted down when they used the chain hoist to pull the engine. The 4.0 mount was almost ripped off the block. One of the holes in the block is actually broken out.

Edit: I just noticed looking at that pic that it seems to have cut into the frame there as well.

Definitely not into the frame as the previous pic made it look. My engine is pretty solidly mounted so it isn't moving. (At least not very much.) I can just get the mounts to give with all my strength.

I wonder if the y-pipe is to blame it kinda looks non-stock?

I am not sure about your issue, but I know mine is very similar. My flange and Y-pipe are almost in contact with the radius arm mount and member. I chalked it up to it being aftermarket headers.

Unfortunately this isn't just almost in contact. In the year since the engine swap it's taken probably 1/8"-1/4" off the edge of the radius arm.

I think we may have similar problems for different reasons.

Edit: I suppose I will get an original y-pipe and see if it makes a difference. I know the rest of the exhaust is pretty screwy anyway. (I built it from pieces of pipe laying in the back of the truck when I bought it, a muffler my dad found in the trash, and what I think was a piece of water pipe.

The rest of the exhaust may be the problem. I spent a while with it actually in contact until I got my exhaust hangers figured out. Bringing up the rear and getting it secured properly did help.

Thanks for the help. I had intended to replace the rest of the system anyway. Just hope I can find something decent cheap.

Just wanted to say, you were right again. I tied the exhaust up higher (had to remove the spare tire carrier to get it there) and it's got probably 1/4 in. clearance now.
