I was reading a thread this morning where the comments was made that "They Don't Make Real Trucks Anymore".

That got me to wondering if anybody else has some really old Fords?

We've got a '27 Roadster Pickup that I built about 15 years ago. The body is original Ford Model T

Got an old truck.. post up some photo's.

My credo
I don't count birthday's anymore...just happy to be looking down at the ground instead of looking up
I get a magazine, Vintage Trucks, bi-monthly, and then spend the next 2 months drooling over the stuff that's out there.
If there were ever a way for me to own one, it would be one of these, either an REO or a Diamond.

I have a old wagon running gear made out of a Model T frame, that is about it for me. I need to figure out how to get tires on it and how to make it useful.

Dutton-Lanson made the hitch conversion kit. They are still in business in Hastings NE, I toured the factory when I was in college. They make pickup hitch stuff now.

My credo
Crossed threads are tight threads.
My ranger is perhaps not antique, but vintage...its pretty old. Everyone loves that thing, as do I. Mostly the real truck mantra is appreciated, that its made of real metal. Pre '74 is hard to find, they dont require smog checks.

Not exactly a truck... but it is 4WD. It also competes in the Pro Truck Nationals.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

I have a 66 F100 that I am resto-modding. It has a efi 351 Cleveland and automatic. I'm pretty much at the point where I have to do body work and I hate body work, so not much progress is being made...

My grandpa had one of those... bone stock, 6 banger, no radio. Green with a white grill and white bumpers.

I spent a lot of hours and have fond memories of that truck. Grandpa and Grandma were quite thrifty. I remember them driving it to our house once and they were beaming with pride as they had just repainted the grille and bumpers. Bright White!

I have the stock Explorer pcm controlling engine and trans. There is an adapter one can get to put the Explorer 5.0 intake on the Cleveland. I have a SCT tuner for engine control adjustments, which are pretty extensive as the spark profile on a Cleveland is completely different from a Windsor.
