I have a 94 2wd ranger with the 4 cylinder. I was thinking I had a 96, which would make the wiring simple, unfortunately that's not the case.

I'm not terribly concerned with making everything work 100%, though it would be a plus.

Would someone be able to point me In the right direction on what I have to do to make it run/charge with the 94 harness?

Thanks!

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Best bet is to use the harness and ecu from the engine donor vehicle.

It would be good to rder the EVTM for both vehicles so you have all the info for tying in circuits external to the engine harness.

Another possibility would be a 5.0 Mustang harness from a late EEC-IV engine. But while that simplifies the wiring into your truck, it does introduce its own complications with matching up sensors, etc.
