Not sure if i need it yet or not to fix my speedo, but if i do...

its the drive gear in the trans. Found another site where a guy listed this part number for an 87 2wd/5sp 2.9.

But the site says M5OD but it says it fits an 87....

Mines a TK.

Should fit, Ford used the same drive gear on several models of manual transmissions
But there were different tooth counts, 6 or 7
