Good morning.... looking for another set of wheels for my 2004 Ranger project and these showed up near me on Craigs.... but I am NOT that knowledgable enough about Ford products and paranoid enough to where I think I should probably ask.... so would you take a look at this link and tell me if these will probably fit my 2004 Ranger XL? Thanks...

The bolt pattern is correct. The problem might be clearance on the later model Ranger upgrades front brakes (bigger rotors). I'm not positive they would fit... if these are what you want... I would try to put one on the front to ensure it clears the caliper before you actually purchase them.

I'm also moving your post to the correct forum (Wheels and Tires). I've moved a couple of your posts from the 1983-2011 Mini Trucks forum to the proper help forum. The forum you've been posting in is actually not a Help forum but more of a build thread type of forum. For all help or question type posts... please use the correct help forums. It just keeps the forum better organized and easier to search when looking for answers.

I thought in 97 they changed to a metric pattern and the older wheels wont bolt on?

Not to my knowledge.

I know they're also listed as 5x114.3 which converts to 4.5

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

F150's did that. It's a pain because it's close to an SAE pattern. But probably not really close enough. I haven't tried. But when I did the math, looking for wheels for my F150, I wasn't comfortable with the difference.

Thanks everyone.... best bet is still the first advice I got.... "better try one on the front"... but I have not heard back from the CL seller so it all might be for nothing..... thanks again....
