I wanted a cheap upgrade swaybar for my 2001 2WD Ranger. The stocker is 27mm. I was at the junkyards & noticed that Explorer's have 34mm Front swaybar.

But 2WD Explorers all seem the have torsion bar suspension, while my Ranger has coil spring front suspension. Would the Explorer front bar fit?

nope, won't fit. a 2wd coil spring Ranger of your year has frame bulges for the coils, the sway bar needs to be 2" wider than the torsion bar type to clear the frame bulges.

been there, tried that, didn't work.
