i've been looking into buying a hurst shifter for quite sometime now, and i'm just seeing if anyone has done it with a 4x4 model. I'm not sure if i can get a boot for the floor with my manual tcase and manual tranny (combination)

if i can i'd like to get a hurst tcase shifter and the tranny shifter...this is what it looks like right now..

however on hurst's website it says they wont fit trucks with a body lift, i'm sure you can extend it somehow (my stock one was extended 3 inches to compensate.)

something that i saw on TRUCKS! with that annoying stacey david is he took a hurst pistol grip shifter for a '68 cuda or some other mopar thing and he cut the bottom of it off and then he cut his stock shifter and he made some sort of connection between the two and covered the connection with a small boot, it looked nice in the truck when it was done...something to ponder...
