Will 2002 3.0 heads work on a 1992 3.0 motor?

Yes, they will, as a set, 2002 3.0l used two different chamber designs, gas only and flex fuel, you can use either kind but as a set, not one of each

Use head bolts and torque specs for 1992 3.0l engine, not 2003

The 2002 3.0 i have is not a flex fuel motor its the plan 3.0 i was many wondering about the 92 intake bolting up properly and which head and intake gaskets to use 92 or 02

Yes, 1992 intake will bolt up to 2002 heads, use 1992 everything, bolts, gaskets, sensors, everything..............

Ok thank you so much i bought this truck being told it had set and only needed a tune up after i got it home i found out it needed heads luckily i had a 02 taurus that was wrecked in the back with a 3.0 i pulled the heads off they are in a1 shape so now time to take down the 92 pit the heads on

Well found out that it wasn't the head push rod on intake or number one cylinder was gone i belive it was over reved before i bought it

Gone was not in motor

I pulled valve cover off was not in place took intake off not in the valley so i took ome out of the 02 motor and replaced it
