Like to add a wideband and AFR gauge, but I'm unsure how to connect it to the factory ECU. Haven't been able to find anything explaining how to wire one in. '97 2.3, adding a turbo and just about ready to test.

You don't or can't use wide band O2 with older Computers, they can't read them

You would add another O2 bung to exhaust pipe for the wide band O2 to hook up to the AFR gauge

You can get clamp on O2 sensor bungs, but an exhaust shop can weld one on pretty fast and doesn't/shouldn't cost that much

Google: Clamp on O2 sensor bung

Should be near upstream O2 but 3-4" away and 90deg to 120deg offset so exhaust flow wake from front O2 doesn't interfere

You can't use a wideband with eec-V. You need to use an aftermarket gauge and tune with that.

Are you really using a stock ECU to turbo your truck? Sounds like trouble to me. A microsquirt is $350.

Yep got the gauge in at this point. Yeah I'm familiar w/Megasquirt, use that on an SVO. Guys in the turbo Ranger facebook group suggested keeping the OBD2, and I'll be using I think it's called SCT's Pro Racer app, along with the SCT handheld, for tuning. Truck's actually been done/ready for 2 weeks now, but it wasn't til after that that I found out I'll need this app. Already had the handheld device. We'll see how it goes
