So guys what’s the biggest V8 we have converted??

There have been a few 460 Rangers over the years.

There have been a couple 4.6's, both SOHC and DOHC.

A measily 4.6 (even SOHC) is wider than a 460.

Good point on external dimensions. There have also been a couple of 300 straight six swaps.

There was a pro street ranger several years ago running at maple grove that ran high 9's in the quarter. I believe it was a 557ci big block. (429/460 block)

Somebody here made a Dually Ranger with a 5.4L, by far the "biggest" Ranger. (I think, lol)

I know a 2v 5.4 is a little wider than a SOHC 4.6... always wondered how it compared to a DOHC 4.6 and how that compares to a Coyote (also DOHC) but never enough to actually check into it.
