Hello everyone, so i have an '86 Ranger 4x4 that has this irritating whistling whine coming from the front end. It starts around 30 mph and drops off around 45 mph. It starts off faint and builds to a peak irritation around 38 mph. The front axle is the original Dana 28. I thought it could be wheel bearings at first, so i replaced those with new rotors... still made the whine. Thought maybe a bad locking hub, so i bought new Warn hubs... still made the noise, only now it does it sometimes rather than constantly like it used to. Sometimes it'll whistle, sometimes i might get lucky and it won't. Anybody ever experience this or have any clues as to what it might be or where i should start???
