Hey guys, I'm new to this forum. I've wanted to buy a ranger for some time now, and the time is now! I just need some opinions and advice on buying used before I take the plunge.
Right now I'm looking at two trucks- a 2003 Edge with crew cab, 4x4, v6 4.0 L, auto trans, with tow package and brand new tires. This truck looks sharp. The problem is the ODM reads over 150K. Asking price is 4900, I'd lowball for 4000 (unless you guys think that's too high), but I'm thinking that the other truck might be the smarter buy. It's a 2008 4x4 V6, tow pkg, manual trans, crew cab, and the ODM reads 118K. Asking 5000, seems pretty legit. I'm going to go have a look and drive both trucks before deciding, but the second option is probably the smarter choice, right?
I'd love to know if anybody knows any specific issues or problems to look for in either of these makes/models.d
