I have recently purchased a 1985 Ford Bronco II and I am wanting to buy rims for it. Nothing too crazy. Just trying to decide if I want spokes or the typical bullethole look.

I am not really a mechanic so I'm probably about to ask a stupid question but how do know what size tires are on my bronco? It's factory and I'm assuming that they are 15'.

also, is there a particular website that people prefer to order rims and/or with any kind of a vehicle simulator so I can see what it looks like online before I buy?

Tire size is on the sidewall of the tire. It should look something like "205-70 R15" maybe not those exact #'s. Whatever number is after the "R", is the rim size. the "205" is the width in millimeters, and the "70" is how tall the sidewall is. (70% of the tire width)

I buy everything on eBay, 99% guarantee whatever you want will be meaningfully cheaper than anywhere else AND have free shipping.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
4wheel parts has decent prices at times. Ignore that they concentrate on Jeeps

I'll second the 4wp... if you aren't in a hurry... they usually run a good sale around tax time. Sales... rebates... no sales tax and free shipping.

The last time I bought wheels they were used, and the last time I got tires. I bought them from Amazon.

The Bronco II has a 5x4.5 bolt pattern.

If I was shopping new, I'd start at summit racing.com. It's easier than going to the websites of each wheel manufacturer.

I love the smell of new tires, preferably in a wharehouse with concrete floors.

While going to Lincoln Tech... I worked in one of those tire warehouses. I can confirm that the smell of said warehouse is overrated... especially when you are the guy stacking ALL of the tires contained there.

I agree with PJ... tire rack has a nice tire tool for looking at tire specs and I used it to narrow down my choices.

Oooooh nearly forgot, another +1 for eBay would be that they run "eBay bucks" deals. Usually 5, 8 or 10% at random times. Sometimes once a week. You accumulate how many ever bucks you can by purchasing, and then at the end of the current quarter you get a credit for eBay in that amount to use in the next quarter.

I had like 86 "free" eBay dollars at the end of last year. Used em on a spare tire for another vehicle.

My BFG KO2s down right stunk to high heaven at first. I never had a tire smell that bad for so long before.
