That is for the 35.

The Dana 35 takes the same hub nuts as the d44.

I clicked on that link but couldn't find anything for spindle/bearing nuts.

Edit... I found the DNA-44 kit, but it says it fits 44 and 60? I'll call Summit and see what I can find.

Another Edit... I see reviews saying they don't work with manual hubs. Mine came with auto hubs but they died so I put Ford manual hubs on it. Will the DNA-44 kit work with manual hubs? It looks like it takes up less real estate than the factory nuts, so it should?

The 44 and 35 use the same part.

That's why I said to snag some from a 150 with ratchet nuts.

Ok. I ninja edited while you were typing. I see reviews that say the stage 8 doesn't work with manual hubs. Thoughts?

The ratchets worked for me. Dusty has them on his truck. Do You mean Auto hubs?

Won't work with Auto hubs.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
It might be an issue with clearance between the nuts and the ID of the hub. I tried regular locknuts with tabbed washers once and they didn't work well because of that.

Nope, manual. I had broken auto hubs from the factory, so I went and got the nuts and manual hubs from a 92 to replace them.

The answer is, they won't work with either. I ordered a pair, and they are very nice and look like they could survive nearly anything, but they don't fit. I'm not even sure how they would fit on ANYTHING. The toothed washer that the retainer sits in is bigger than the hub bore of the wheels, so not only will the hub not fit over it, it would only fit inside a hub on a MUCH larger wheel bore.... like 3/4" larger to fit the hub over the washer plus the thickness of the hubs.

I thought for a minute maybe I should just get hubs that would work, but I would need seriously custom wheels to fit over any hub that would fit over these nuts.

For now I used an extra retainer washer between the inner nut and bearing to space things out to where a second retainer doesn't spin into that groove. I feel pretty confident in the safety. Long term I'll get new spindles and find some better way of retaining the bearings.

The ratchet nuts you talk about are just stock F150 pieces?

yes.

dusty reminded me that i had put d44 outers on his truck, and he misses that truck. i had not talked with those guys in a bit so i was good to call. but we had to hone something with the ratchet nuts before he upgraded. we dont remember what brand lockouts he had with d35 spindles but there was mods to fit the zipnut. i had early style lockouts and they worked but were snug.
i dont remember having to modify anything when i used the zipnuts.. they were a little tight. maybe thats why i exploded a bunch of shit in retrospect. and i was blaming the zipnuts because they do crack with over stock power and my throttle useage, even on my dana60....and those fawkers are huge. and they break with 42's
