Went wheeling up in southern NH this past weekend. Definately some of the hardest stuff I have ever tried. Its the typical mix of New England mud, rocks and trails but what these guys that cut the trails did was absolutely amazing!

Well, the first thing that my friend john went and did was roll his jeep.

It was ok though, he was fine and we had his jeep back on its wheels in less than a minute. He wheeled the rest of the day too! :3gears:

My only damage, save a tail light and a mirror.

And you see that weld that broke? It wasnt mine!!!! It was part of a bracket that I cut up to reuse.:fie::not_i: :icon_welder:

Then near the end of the day, Willy went and put on a show for us, almost at his own expense!

These pics are from the second day.

And my new heavy duty drive shaft held up great! It is made of 0.135" wall tubing instead of the stock 0.085" wall tubing.

Those are some awesome shots and videos. Looks like a hell of a time. The nose stand video was pretty funny but what's with all the squeaky noises the jeep was making?

********, *********** recreation area. It is private land that you have to get permission to use through the NEA.

Damn right! Makes the easy trails harder so I can have more fun where jeeps get bored!

Oops. :idiot:

It might have had something to do with the 5 different cracks in the frame rail around his steering box. Or it could have been some other stuff.... it is a Heep after all.

It was a blast! Jeep was good except for a broke windshield and one bent bar that runs forward to the windshield, because of the rotted windshield frame.

Then after wheeling the rest of the day and having no problems, all sorts of stuff starts happening.

First, it gives him some trouble starting.
Then he has no clutch.
And then, after trying that same obstacle again and discovering that one hub was broke and his rear locker was not working, the jeep started spitting bolts out........Namely the steering box bolts. He went to drive and PING!! He looks down and sees a steering box bolt broke off right at the end of the threads.

He says to me, "I think my jeep is trying to tell me something........."
